Technology proves to be a new danger mostly associated with the human workforce as it takes on basic characteristics of low-skilled jobs and converts them to more efficient processes that satisfy both the business and the customer. The transition into mechanical uses dates back to the Great Depression and Industrial Revolution, where America suffered high rates of unemployment but still met the demands of the economy. Since then, automation has expanded to most manufacturing industries for costs to be reduced and time to be saved. The challenge then becomes what could society possibly do to become marketable shortly when having a college degree is not enough to compete with computerized systems. The five stakeholders handling the impact of this decision include Business, Economy, Employees, Society, and Government.
