In the year 2017 alone, 139 people were exonerated for crimes they did not commit - some had even been sentenced to death. Many others were sentenced to forever.
Our mission is to share the stories of the Exonerated through their own voices empowering the individual Exoneree while also educating and compelling our listeners to help end this type of injustice. Only a flawed system convicts innocent people, but together we can correct those flaws and create a true system of justice.

This is a must listen 2 podcast!
I am so happy I found this podcast! Not since serial and making a murderer have I been so riveted by a story. I can not even believe this is a amateur podcast! If I could give ten stars I would. Thank you so much for bringing this story to light. Your hard work and dedication to the truth shines through every single episode. Ive had to write a part 2 to this review. Ive just finished the final episode and I know this case will haunt me. Brooke you have found your calling!
The show is broken :(
This show is broken. Can’t listen to the full episodes. They skip to the next one when it’s clearly not finished yet. Maybe they shouldn’t have ‘remastered’ them?? :( Disappointing cuz it’s a story I wanted to listen to but now can’t.
I want to like it ... but the narration is hard to listen to
As others have mentioned, the story is very interesting. But the narrator is excruciating to listen to. It is clear she is reading the script, and her intonation while reading is tough to listen to. And the ads peppered throughout are very cheesy and quite annoying to listen to.
