339 - The Murder of Anne Marie Fahey

339 - The Murder of Anne Marie Fahey

Anne Marie “Annie” Fahey wanted to date someone her own age who didn’t have a family, who wasn’t controlling and obsessive, and who didn’t insist they keep their relationship a secret from pretty much everyone in her life. But when she finally summoned the courage to break off her two-year relationship, she disappeared months later. What followed in the search for Annie—and, ultimately, justice— was a whirlwind trial that unequivocally proved no one, regardless of their popularity, connections, or wealth, is above the law. On this week’s episode, we dive into a case so chaotic that it might even rival the “Staircase Murder” in its twists and turns: The murder of Anne Marie Fahey at the hands of one of Delaware’s most prominent and influential prosecuting attorneys, Tom Capano.

Has potential

The interrupting banter is too much and distracting. It’s too much like MFM. Wish they would be more unique. It has potential.

Sloppy

I tried listening to this podcast today about The Watts family, after hearing constant incorrect pronunciation of Shanann’s name and incorrect information regarding the 6 week vacation Shanann and the girls took I had to turn it off.
Please research and time the time to correctly pronounce the victims names.

True crime all da time

Perfect true crime podcast. They’re respectful of victims and their circumstances but still manage to be funny 🙂 also they make an effort to look at things through an intersectional lens. Katelyn I also fcuk up my words a lot too. It’s ok ❤️
