A small California town—and three people within it—become the targets of an ancient evil.
Tess Bellamy’s return home is anything but triumphant. She’s decided Hollywood isn’t for her, resigned to a normal life of caring for her ailing mother. Linna Severand would be a powerful sorceress...if she could escape her family’s mansion, and usurp their control of her magic. Gabriel Majeaux once tried to save the world from evil. Now he’s the last of his kind, moving from place to place to avoid detection.
After a series of horrifying events, their lives collide...and if they aren’t prepared, it’s unlikely they’ll survive.

Disappointing.
Didn’t make it past episode one. I’d rather not listen to one person narrating multiple characters, forcing me to pretend I’m listening to a genuine story. Its not hard (or expensive) to have every character voiced by different people, to have some sound effects to add depth and illustrate the setting. Instead you opt for words to describe those intangibles as if this were a book. Take a page out of “Whiteout”… huge difference between this “audio drama” and that one. Points for being on Apple (and with Realm) but with content like this I can only assume the only explanation is planned obsolescence, or nepotism..
Falls flat
The one person narrative fell flat as an audio drama. I listened to two episodes and still don’t understand how the two completely different story lines connect to each other. I actually ‘rewound’ the part where the second character started twice to see if I had accidentally switched podcasts because the second story came out of nowhere. It’s asking a bit much to have your audience continue listening without capturing their interest with a clear story line. Sorry, not for me.
