good content

the content is SO GOOD. i just feel as though that the narrating could be a little more exciting, like more energy in the narrators voice

Good mob show but too long

The show was good and the content from Bob and associated people was great. However, the show went over the same ground so many times, it could easily have been told in an hour or so. It’s clear that the writer was stretching as much as possible to get a series out of the material, but ended up with a lot of repetition.

Simply excellent

I was eagerly awaiting the second season after the first one on the Drug Wars, which was riveting.
I think this season had less to work with than the last (I mean drug smugglers, Noriega, etc!) but Haloween manages the material much better. The pacing was perfect, and the interspersing of other voices besides Bob’s was well done. It must have been hard to be as impartial as Halpern is in this series—when you step back a bit, you can see that Bob got off easy with his fate; but when you’re with Bob inside his story, his charisma sucks you in.
All in all, this was thorough and compelling.
