Defining ”Growth” In Your Church The Church Helper Podcast

For as long as I can remember, people have been talking to me about church growth. As a staff member, I remember people asking me how I would plan to "grow our youth group" or what the church planned to do to "find new people to attend." We would talk about outreach strategies, new programming ideas, and advertising our upcoming holiday services. Upon reflection, I think there's a conversation I often forgot to initiate because I took the answer for granted in many cases. A conversation that started with the question, how do we define growth? So today, I'm to briefly chat about how your church could or should define growth, three different types of growth in your church, and why the answers are likely different from church to church.
