Behind the Sofa – 50th Anniversary Special …

Join Stevie K. Farnaby (AKA SKiFfle) (Producer / Engineer), and Mark Kalita aboard the TARDIS, for a fun chat celebrating 50 years of Dr. Who. Amongst numerous Whovian related themes, they discuss how they both discovered Dr. Who, what it’s meant to them over the years, and how Mak became one of the longest standing Audio Doctors ever (10 years this year!). Note, this show also contains speculation on what 50th Anniversary Episode has in store.
And listen out for a rather special never before heard “Event One” segment, direct from the MAKalita archives …
Produced and Engineered by Stevie K. Farnaby (AKA SKiFfle)
The Dr. Who Theme recorded by Stevie K. Farnaby (AKA SKiFfle), based on the original Theme by Ron Grainer and realised by Delia Derbyshire.

    We Want Who ? …

    We Want Who ? …

As you all know, there’s a certain 50 year celebration coming up. Now I’ve had a number of emails / Facebook messages etc., asking if I could find a way for BrokenSea to get the fans of our show involved somehow. So I racked me brain for a while. I swear steam came outta me ears ! – LOL. Anyways, here’s what I came up with :-
Why not do a special one-off fan-based Behind The Sofa. You lovely lot out there could record a brief segment explaining how you discovered Dr. Who, and what it’s meant to you. I could then compile them altogether into a show !
So here’s what you need to do. Record a brief clip (No longer than 1 minute long and preferably in 192K Mp3 format), and send it to me no later 23rd November at TheCompanyUK2001@gmail.com. Obviously, this being a family show, please no bad language or offensive content.
So there you go. Hope you all like the idea.
Looking forward to hearing to hearing from you all.

Great Story

Great show

Well worth listening too. I have been a long time fan of Dr.Who and this radio drama hits the nail squarely. The production is professional and the acting excellent. The main actor(s) obviously know the show and bring a delightfully refreshing personal interpretation to their characters. The occasional and part time characters always bring something fun to the show, I would actually like to see a post introducing everyone with a bio. I've tried many of the other Dr.who radio dramas and this one is number 1. As the show says, "this show is rated "g" for, "pretty good."" and it is. Thanks! I hope the producer comes back, he is a great writer, sound engineer and musician.
