Join me, filmmaker and author Justin Simien, for unfiltered conversations with the film stars, artists and tv creators shaping black, queer and other emerging popular cultures. Be a fly on the wall as me and my guests use a common love language of "shade" to dive deeper than the knee-jerk reactions and the Twitter hot takes. If you're a fan of my film turned hit tv show "Dear White People," you already know I'll be going deep, with wide ranging conversations about race, pop culture, film, tv, political movements, religion, drugs and occasionally highly coded Hollywood gossip. Unless you're ready for all this tea, "Don't @ Me."

Most Important Podcast Out There

I love this podcast. I love how Justin Simien and his guests explore important issues around race, gender, sexuality, diversity and representation in a casual, open manner. The podcast is funny, entertaining, and thought provoking. I listen to it in my car, at work, cooking, travelling, and when I'm just trying to relax at the end of day. It's the best thing out there.

Justin’s a natural @ this

Refreshing to hear guests having a candid CONVERSATION with Justin instead of the generic (and expected) interview style. Yup, subscribed.
