At the end of the DFM Spoilers Incline ride (‘yer warning) Jake the Midnight Traveler offers an overview of the movie and his own personal stories related to it. We’ll talk creators and cast notables (CREATABURS!) and then we break for intermission. During intermission we’ll play two movie trailers. Who picked what movie to pair with this week’s film for a fun double feature? Stay after intermission to find out! 🍿
🩸 Segment 2 aka “Horror, Etc” we’ll reveal who picked what to pair and why, then select our favorite What the Hell Moment, favorite death and/or effect and then we’ll each rate the movie X/5 Flamethrowers. How does this week's film compare to the House of the Devil and what do we think of the location and the cast this go-round? We find The Innkeepers to be a solid delight if you don't mind the mundane and lost twenty-somethings themes. Is it the perfect gateway horror? You bet!

The Ol' Disc Rental Days: The Cabin in the Woods
We REALLY wish we would have caught this flick in theaters! Our trio missed this one because we all had remake sickness . . . so we all said "pass!" Woops! This 2012 meta-commentary multi-genre mashup is much better than anticipated! We discuss the days when Nextflix rented discs and when Redbox was full of undiscovered gems and germs. We also choose the character type we would be in this movie & what monsters from the whiteboard we'd choose to appease the ancient ones. Enjoy!
