E25: Grateful Dead — 'Workingman's Dead' 50th Anniversary Deluxe Edition Review (w/Spencer Cropper & Jeremy Shaw) Rock Talk with Dr. Cropper
-
- Music History
In this episode I am joined by two very special guests — my brother, Spencer Cropper, and my best friend, Jeremy Shaw — to help me review the recently-released (July) 50th Anniversary Deluxe Edition of 'Workingman's Dead,' one of the Grateful Dead's two best studio albums. This release is comprised of a pristine remastering of the original album, along with a previously-unreleased concert from February 21, 1971 at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY.
