Eco Product Designing with Alisa Yao

This week I sit down with designer and product creator Alisa Yao, based in Vancouver, Canada to discuss everything about the sourcing, making and discarding of materials and products sustainably! 

Alisa explains the difference between recycling vs down-cycling, what is greenwashing, how to source materials sustainably and the life cycle of certain products. We also go into eco anxiety, picking your battles and making gradual baby steps to improving your overall consumption and waste.
