Where we explore the tragic Line of Duty Deaths of Firefighters and Paramedics, to learn from these incidents. We will try to produce two of these podcasts monthly. These podcasts are brief Synopsys of the events we have obtained from official reports and published stories. We wanted to provide an easy and convenient method for today’s firefighters to quickly learn lessons of past LODD’s and possibly prevent them from happening again.

Episode #46, Listowel, Ont March 2011
On March 17, firefighters from North Perth responded to a smoke and possible fire at a local commercial occupancy undergoing roof repairs, while open for business. During investigation of smoke in the store, and potential fire in the below roof space, the roof collapsed, trapping two firefighters.

Episode #45 Berwick ME March 2019
In March of 2019 two firefighters entered a 21/2 story walkup multi-family dwelling for search and rescue of a trapped occupant. They encountered rapid fire progression and the Captain was killed and the Firefighter was injured. please listen to learn more about this event.
