In this episode we explore the LODD of a South Dakota firefighter during a rural residential house fire after the successful rescue of a victim. This is a typical anywhere in North America rural call.

On March 17, firefighters from North Perth responded to a smoke and possible fire at a local commercial occupancy undergoing roof repairs, while open for business. During investigation of smoke in the store, and potential fire in the below roof space, the roof collapsed, trapping two firefighters.

In March of 2019 two firefighters entered a 21/2 story walkup multi-family dwelling for search and rescue of a trapped occupant. They encountered rapid fire progression and the Captain was killed and the Firefighter was injured. please listen to learn more about this event.
