Ep 15: Nikola Tesla and Mihajlo Pupin SAN Magazine Podcast

Mladen and Kristina speak about two American scientists of Serbian descent, Nikola Tesla and Mihajlo Pupin— proverbial giants who changed the world with their contributions.
Nikola Tesla and Mihajlo Pupin were both Serbs, both brilliant minds, and while they were contemporaries, they did not collaborate nor were they friends. The path of learning and scientific research led both Tesla and Pupin to the United States of America where they lived and worked in the field of science, which made them well known throughout the world.
Nikola Tesla is most famous for his invention of the alternating current electricity supply system, and the unit of magnetic induction was named after him. In the field of telecommunications, Mihajlo Pupin is best known for his patent under the name of “Pupin coils.”
