Creator of the blog adventures & anxiety, Lisa Poe (@adventuresandanxiety) is a proud mental health advocate. She has struggled with anxiety her entire life, and was diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Panic Disorder in 2010. Lisa created the adventures & anxiety platform as an outlet to share her story, and to be a resource for others struggling with anxiety disorders. She shares mental health tips and tricks, her anxiety "toolkit", and encourages others to get vulnerable and share their stories, too.

- Why she created her blog about anxiety two years ago and why she believes that sharing her story set her free
- The relationship between social media and anxiety and how to disconnect if social media feels overwhelming 
- How a combination of therapy, medication, and holistic practices have helped her ease her anxiety and how she’s working to end the stigma around taking medication
