In 2019, CBC named DJ one of fifteen Canadian Comedians to Watch, and NOW Magazine has dubbed her one of their Breakthrough Toronto Stage Artists of the Year. She has written for shows like This Hour Has 22 Minutes, Gary and his Demons, and the Baroness Von Sketch Show, which she won a Canadian Screen Award for Best Writing, Variety, or Sketch Comedy.
