Ep. 47 - Alexandra Jamieson: How Truth Changes Over Time Dear Life with Christina Rasmussen

    • Alternative Health

In today’s episode, I’m happy to introduce you to my friend Alexandra Jamieson. I do want to acknowledge that this episode was recorded in mid-February before the COVID-19 pandemic was declared and life changed for everyone. However, I feel that this conversation is well-timed for what many of us are currently working through as we spend time in our homes and reevaluate so many facets of our lives and who we are.
In this conversation, Alex shares some of her personal experiences with loss including losing an aunt and a grandfather to suicide. Dealing with mental health and addiction among other family members and how she feels those moments shaped her and influenced even her friendships and future relationships.
Alexandra also talks about her journey with healing her physical body with food and how her approach has shifted over time. Having been a staunch vegan for many years and then shifting back to eating animal products for health reasons was a big journey and led her to experience more loss as people rejected her shift in lifestyle and many friends and connections were lost.

“I don’t believe that everything happens for a reason. However, I do believe that I can learn something from anything.”
~ Alexandra Jamieson

This is a moment of great change and collective grief. It’s also an opportunity, on the other side of this, to Reenter Life as a new version of ourselves both as a collective and as individuals. Alexandra shares some of her personal experiences with healing and stepping more into herself.
If you are needing support during this pandemic, I invite you to join my free Facebook Group that I have created for you. It is so important to me that we are ready to exit the Waiting Room when it’s time to re enter our new lives on the other side of this.
