Ep.5| Black Narratives Matter: Martina Kelades

Life Out Loud Podcast

A significant shift and attention to the injustices of black people around many parts of the world have taken place. How do we sort through and understand it all through our lens? What are our thoughts about anti-black racism and institutional or systemic racism? Where are our thoughts rooted? Our experiences. Black Narratives Matters is about amplifying and strengthening the voices of black people and sharing their unique experiences of living while black. This episode is a narrative around balancing the opportunities I have had in my life to acknowledging the disparities between black and white — recognizing the significant historical and systemic effects of racism that is still prevalent today.
