EP1: Maitree Mervana - Touchdown Ventures Leaders

Maitree was born in India, moved to Kenya, and then grew up most of her life in California. At UCLA she started to explore opportunities in business and over the years became an investment banking analyst at Citigroup. But, after a couple of years in banking, she knew that her passion was in investing and helping entrepreneurs. She left Citigroup without a job only to pursue her passion of helping entrepreneurs. Through persistent hard work and staying committed to what was in her heart, she ended up at Touchdown Ventures, a leading VC in Silicon Valley. Maitree is now on a mission to help add more diversity in the VC community by creating a platform for young rising female investors and making it easier for them to share ideas and collaborate.
