Episode 72 - "Ghosts of the Wilderness: An Everyday Guy’s Search for America’s Rare and Elusive Wildlife" with Daniel Toujours Pessimism At Its Finest

    • Society & Culture

It is the first episode of 2024 and it is an interview with Daniel Toujours, the author of “Ghosts of the Wilderness: An Everyday Guy’s Search for America’s Rare and Elusive Wildlife”. This episode took me a while to release as I wanted to finish his book prior to release (and editing is always a long game for me). I really enjoyed the book and recording this episode! I learned so much!

Daniel gives us many nuggets of information from how he started his hiking adventures, the different types of rock art (petroglyph and pictograph), animals he found in nature, acclimatization, the TMZ/30 mile zone, and finding ticks after hikes.

I truly enjoyed this interview with Daniel and I think that you will also enjoy. You can find Daniel’s book on Amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/Ghosts-Wilderness-Everyday-Americas-Wildlife-ebook/dp/B0CJ7QWRY5
