In 2017, she rewrote her own story with a big plot twist, leaving the corporate world and launching her career and communications strategy firm, Commander-in-She. Now, she helps clients find the power in their own stories. She partners with companies to develop future leaders and offers keynotes and workshops on how to use storytelling to get the job, close the sale, nail the presentation and build a better personal brand.
Valerie believes in actively authoring your next chapter and that everyone has the capability to “write" their own.
Fun fact about Valerie?… She “sees” stories everywhere. Like the kid in that movie “The Sixth Sense.” Except, instead of seeing dead people, she see stories. Little invisible stories just waiting to be developed…
