On this episode, we speak to Dr. Yvonne Buys, Past president of the COS about her recent retirement.  We’ll discuss her career, and the transition from full-time ophthalmologist to retirement and how we should plan for that transition ourselves.
Dr. Yvonne Buys earned her MD degree at the University of Toronto. S he completed a fellowship in ophthalmology in 1992, and earned the Diploma of the American Board of Ophthalmology in 1993. She is a Full Professor at the University of Toronto, Department of Ophthalmology & Vision Sciences and the Co-Director of the Glaucoma Unity at the University Health Network.
Dr. Buys has accomplished a lot over the course of her career and we’ll talk about some of that in this episode.
