Smart & snappy

This is some great listening. Insightful, on-the-nose, no holds barred discussion of the meanings behind many horror tropes. Dashes of humour and the occasional f-bomb make me wish I could hang out with the hosts and dish with them over coffee but I'll settle for making my way thru the back catalogue. Look forward to the many hours of listening ahead!

Shout out to Imaginary Worlds for sending me this way.

Fave horror film podcast

my fave horror podcast. Anything that gets the incels and alpha bros and alt-right riled up (something a pair of smart women with extensive education in horror, film, and sociology will do. Doubly so if they also swear and have bonus episodes where the editor catalogs all the burps that were edited from previous episodes), then you know it’s the good stuff.

A Ten Year Old Favourite 🇨🇦☠️🎃

This has been my favourite podcast since its infancy! Alex and Andrea are hilarious hosts who put a ton of work into their research. They are both published authors in horror academia so if you are looking for a podcast that looks at horror deeply and throughly, look no further.
