Excessive amount of ads

I resonate with this podcast on a deeply personal level, having grown up in a toxic and dysfunctional home, a home ravaged by mental illnesses, alcoholism, unhealed generational trauma and the secrets meant to keep everything hidden.

I would easily have given this podcast a five star rating were it not for the excessive amount of ads which repetitively disruptive each episode. As someone living with CPTSD and AuDHD, I experience frustration every time an episode is interrupted, affecting the flow of my focus on each guest’s story. While I understand the need for ads as a source of funding for the podcast, I have yet to experience such a excessive number in any other podcast. They truly ruin what could be a superb podcast.
