Love IT

Very well researched. The women clearly know their stuff. I enjoy the format of two friends catching up. I’m huge into fashion history so I didn’t think I’d enjoy the food portion too much but I loved it! The recipes sound so delicious. I don’t know enough about Canadian History and it was wonderful to hear about historical people’s day to day lives. Normally fashion is a very visual medium but the way they describe things I’ve never had a issue being fully immersed. I also love that when something doesn’t turn out 100% perfect they are honest and they adapt things to make things work. That honesty is more powerful than they realize, especially in a world where social media has you thinking that everyone is perfect 24/7. I really want this show to take off.

Creative & well-researched!

Steph and Tori’s food and fashion projects are creative and they hilariously share the wins and fails. The historical context is always well-researched. The hosts’ dynamic is a highlight. If you listen to History Chicks, check this out!
