Customer Reviews
This is podcast is a hidden gem!
A big part of teaching history and making it digestible is being a good storyteller; the way he weaves context and nuance into historical events is compelling. I’m now obsessed with medieval Spain.
Fantastic History Podcast!
As a history dork with a commute this podcast has been a gem for me. I have tried listening to many different history podcasts and the only other one that comes close to this calibre is Hardcore History. Niltin finds a great balance of information and entertainment, which is a rare find. I’ve powered through his entire catalogue over the past ~2 months and the only disappointment is that I have to wait for more (a consequence of well researched content). Highly recommend this podcast to anyone interested!
A wonderful podcast of history as story
The narrator tells stories that both inform & enchant about pivotal moments in history that have, without our realizing, shaped the world we all have to work with today. His voice is surprising - gentle yet persuasive - and very effective. Great listening!
