Why Is It So Expensive to Be Vegan?
Join me as I address the charge that a vegan diet is accessible only to the privileged, wealthy elite who have enough money to buy organic produce and expensive vegan products. It's not as clear-cut as all that.

Animal-Inspired Pasta Names
Many types of pasta are named for their resemblance to things we see or interact with every day, and so it should be no surprise several of those names are inspired by animals. Can you guess any of these animalogies before listening? Did I miss any? Take a listen to find out.

Truly a refreshing and resonant perspective!
Colleen always inspires, but the podcast on compassion was truly one of the best I’ve ever listened to. Tomorrow I’ll listen to it again because there was so much to soak up. This is one that needs to be shared. Just wow.
Colleen is an inspiration and a tireless activist for the animals.
Very Informative, Inspiring and promotes so much compassion!
I recently discovered this podcast, after a co-worker of mine, whom happens to be vegan herself, recommended the Food for Thought podcast as I was struggling with my "vegetarianism" after watching the documentary "Dominion". Deciding to go vegan immediately after watching the documentary, I was looking for inspiration and answers. I went into a deep dive with your podcast, starting at the very beginning, and after only 20 episodes in, I feel inspired, connected, hopeful, and educated on where to go and how to live a more compassionate lifestyle that supports all animals as living beings. I also felt sad and angry as Colleen sheds truth and light on the horrors of the Intensive modern meat industry and the system that has done a good job at keeping the truth away from us. I feel more empowered after each episode and I thank Colleen on her hard, tireless work in speaking the truth and speaking for the voiceless and forgotten. Keep up the hard work, you inspire us to keep going. I look forward to each old and new episodes, and will help to spread the message for you, for the animals and for our planet! Thank you!
