This week Chloe Wilde keeps it in the family and welcomes Larissa Nicole to the podcast. Not only has she been part of the Healthy Is Hot family as a writer for quite some time, she is a transformation and wellness coach on her way to becoming a Holistic Nutritionist. Growing up, she was raised in an Italian household where pasta, cheese, bread and olive oil were frequent staples in her diet, and there was no such thing as portion control. She struggled with body images throughout her childhood and was bullied in school… This led to her trying every “crash diet” and let others dictate her self-worth. When she entered University she was unhappy and ready to begin her true journey with health. She began doing workout videos at home, restricting her calories and began to see the pounds fall off until she plateaued and her go-to “rules” weren’t working anymore.
It was then that she realized that to transform her body, she needed to transform her mind. She became a student, absorbing as much information as possible in nutrition, fitness and wellness.
