    Season 4, Episode 3 - Dark Waters

This episode is Part 2 of our conversation with Detective Tim Turnbull (Ret.)

Not only did he serve as lead investigator on the case, but he’s one of very few remaining first-person witnesses to the scene of the abandoned car following Sandra and John’s disappearance on November 16, 1996.

In this episode, we explore Detective Turnbull's theory of what happened.

    Season 4, Episode 4 - Satanic Panic

    Season 4, Episode 4 - Satanic Panic

The same night she and her son disappeared in November 1996, Sandra Jacobson called the Bismarck, North Dakota Police Department to report satanic activity in the area.

A fascination with Satanism and the occult took hold of American society during the 1980s. As it turns out, Bismarck has a longer and deeper connection to this dark taboo than most.

    Season 4 Thought Experiment

    Season 4 Thought Experiment

One aspect of that location along the Missouri River in Bismarck, North Dakota where Sandra Jacobson's car was found doesn't seem to fit in the established theory of what happened to Sandra, and her 5-year-old son John.

Neither has been seen since November 16, 1996.

Volume issues

The content is awesome and I am enjoying the story. However there is a difference in volume of the podcast content and the advertisements. I have to turn up the volume to hear the people speak, and when the ads come on it’s WAY TOO LOUD! Not so friendly for headphones! Change that and I’d give it five stars!

Great Narration

I really like the tone you use when you tell the story. It’s natural and not fake. Some crime podcasters speak in a phoney, exaggerated way & it sounds silly! Stories are well written too.

If you like true crime you’ll love this

What a gem of a podcast. Very thorough without adding unnecessary content.

A necessary requirement for a podcast (for me) is a good narrator, which is definitely a achieved here. He’s clear, concise, good pacing
