Topics always resonate

Joanna and guests give me pause for thought and inspire me to continue on the path. I love the tenderness of her being and am grateful there are no memes present in her podcasts. It is a safe space at FP.

Throw open the doors of perception

Future Primitive has been a wonderful discovery. (And as I have listened to all of the available episodes, I am now slightly sad that my morning routine of listening in the quiet of the house, almost meditatively, has come to an end and from now on I must wait for new episodes).
I was looking for a podcast that explored plant medicines; I have discovered so much more. It is such a wide range of fascinating people who are contributing to the Great Awakening of the human spirit. I love it all! plant medicines, shamanism, the human spirit, environmentalism, building community, spirituality, traditional knowledge, love, exploration, or as Joanna has said: that feeling that Livingstone had when he discovered Victoria Falls. This is what it feels like! Merci pour le cadeau, Joanna!
The title of this podcast is perfect because it recognises the inherant wisdom of our ancestors, of our cultures, and of our human body in pointing the way towards the future. It is very humbling to listen to a new episode of Future Primitive and discover an entirely undiscovered country of wisdom.
I appreciate the wisdom of the guests on Future Primitive and I also really appreciate Joanna's very open, responsive, and surprising animation of the interviews. Also, Joanna's own contribution, through her life stories, add a significant layer of understanding and expression to the exchange.
After each episode of Future Primitive, I often find myself looking deeper into the subject and the people that I have just encountered. It is wonderful to be able to meet such wonderful and diverse people who are doing such important things in the world and who are contributing to the shift: the shift in humanity towards a new age where our humaness is not at war with the Earth AND the shift in my internal understanding of myself.
