    G&G Episode 14 : Miranda

    G&G Episode 14 : Miranda

CW : sexual trauma, some cursing

Co-founder of Gay & Grey Montreal, Miranda Potts, took some time out of her VERY busy schedule to talk about her fascinating life with a gay activist mother, responses to trauma and how she came to fill such an important role in our community. She highlights the many intersections of oppression she has experienced (racism, homophobia, poverty), while recounting life stories like how she landed the lead role in one of Montreal's first gay theater productions and how she met Dr Bernice King, Dr Martin Luther King Jr's daughter.

We ended up needing to do two sessions, one of which was via Zoom and the other was in studio (at the Sud-Ouest Recording Service). Recording quality varies.

This episode was recorded and edited by That Nikki You Know.
