Video game phanatic🎮

After listening to the NHL ‘94 podcast just want to go to the video game store and purchase the NHL’94 game. Also want to buy a Sega Genesis console. My ultimate video game goal is to play NHL ‘94.

Love the show!

I came across this podcast a few weeks ago, and i have been downloading episodes ever since. I listen to them while working, and I enjoy the warm blanket of nostalgia the show provides. It sounds like old friends of mine, and how we reminisce about the days when games were not being pumped out by the hour. Its good clean entertainment, and I pray you continue the good work of putting out good content.

P.S. please review my favourite Gem "Haunting: starring Polterguy" Its a good one!

Could be great, but...

I'll be blunt: Aaron ruins the show for me. He is an attention hoar, and I quickly get tired of how much of each episode is Aaron talking about himself and all the "awesome" things he is up to. The "Ask Aaron" segment is especially guilty of that, filling almost half of the show with auto-fellatio poorly disguised as information. Being able to fast forward past that segment helps slightly, but the conversation is still dominated by Aaron. He is allowed his time to shine but he doesn't like anyone else to have theirs, constantly interjecting himself into the other host's anecdotes and musings making the focus shift from Nick's story to Aaron. The show should really be called "Aaron is #1" and have a segment called Genesis Gems. If Nick was just a little less of a sycophant, he could probably keep the show focused on Sega instead of on Aaron. The potential is there, but, sadly, will not be realized.
