    The Temple of Bel

The Temple of Bel in Palmyra mixed the religions of Rome with beliefs in the east, providing the residents of the city with their own unique deities. While significant as a Roman temple, it had a long history in the years that followed, and has played an important part in Syria’s recent tragic events.

Fantastic

Fantastic podcast

Absolutely love the podcast, but

for the last 9 months I thought it was on some kind of hiatus. After pledging to support the previous season, and gaining access to the older episode’s RSS feed, I didn’t realize that feed would stop updating come the current season. Unfortunately, money was tight last fundraising chance and I couldn’t pledge my support that time around. I would encourage everyone to support them and will continue to next time the opportunity presents itself (The love and work put into this podcast, Emperors of Rome, Caesars Gallic Wars, and the Illyrian Wars clearly shows!) but it does feel a bit irksome that - in losing access to a complete RSS feed come the proceeding season - one could just wait till a couple seasons down the line and get access to older episodes other’s supported, while the ones who made those episodes possible don’t get access to that sort of access to proceeding episodes.

Wonderful and I want more :)

I’m new to your podcast and love it! It would be great if you could let the listeners know how to purchase access to your previous episodes. Thanks!
