Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Often just weeping with relief and recognition while listening here. This podcast and your work are SO NEEDED. Parenting is isolating and challenging even when you’re trying your absolute best. You give us a community and tool kit to fall back on that I literally don’t know what I would do without. Thank you Dr. Becky. Thank you thank you thank you.
Overbearing and Not Soothing?
Who calls a mother over bearing and not soothing just because she says she’s worried about her son? This mother barely even said a word about her behaviour and gets shamed and criticized for what?
Top Parenting Tool
I was introduced to Dr Becky’s book last year when I was going through a very difficult time with my DFKs grade 1 transition at a new school. Even though the excruciatingly painful days are behind, hard/ugly/uncomfortable things pop up from time to time. I love that there is a podcast to keep the learning going and tools/strategies/theories top of mind. The call ins from parents are great. I’m not alone!
