NOTE: This episode was recorded before the COVID-19 situation took hold. Given the rapidly changing situation, it may be jarring to hear me ignore it—and that’s why.
I was deeply moved by composure shown by Dr. Johnson in such a terrifying moment. I get tremendously rattled when I can’t find my phone right away! This example reminds me of how I can face life with more equanimity.

What a wonderful phrase! The joy of the snow. It’s not always easy to feel the joy of the snow. Sometimes we’re able to see it better, when we can glimpse it through other people’s joyful eyes.

Drea from Canada ,

Brightens My Day.

In the last couple of months, I’ve re-evaluated the social media I consume and thought I would give podcasts a try. I searched “positivity”, “happy” and found the Happier podcast. Since then, I’ve been listening to episodes and I love it. One of my favourites is episode 263! What I like about it the most is that it provides listeners with practical tips to be happier and you get to hear from relevant guests or experts in their field that offer additional perspective. I’ve noticed that listening to episodes brightens my day and I look forward to listening each time ☺️

Practical little tweaks you can make to gain more control over you life.

How do I listen: I listen to this Podcast on spotify, in random order.
When: Driving, at the gym, while I'm in the shower. It's easy listening - conversational.
What Do I Learn: Practical ideas to apply to your daily life, solutions to the many stumbling blocks on the road to our goals.
What Keeps Me Hooked: I have sisters, and the sister dynamic is very comforting, enjoyable and educational. The hosts are just likeable overall.

Ads

Hello ladies! I was reminded how much I love your show when I listened again to your first episode! Thanks for all your hard work and for all the little reminders and pats on the back!
Your frequent ads on your new episodes are one point of contention for me. I’m a left-winger who cringes involuntarily each time I hear the H&R Block ad. Ugh. I suppose these ads (among many) are a necessary evil but they stink!
Sending thanks to you both!
