Sharing my story on overcoming addiction
I feel like everyone’s stories should be heard and that is exactly what these incredible people are giving people the opportunity to do and I am very thankful for having the opportunity to share mine. Not only does sharing my story give hope to those still in active addiction and those in recovery it helps me in my own recovery. I share a lot on my own social media but I’ve never gone live with my story and I’ve deep down wanted to really share it. I was nervous to share but the both of you made it much more comfortable for me to do that, which in turn has been an addition to my healing journey and goals. I will be tuning in often, can’t wait to see more stories. Thanks guys and all the best to your family ❤️ 🤟💪🔥
Giving a Voice to Everyone Who Feels Alone and Unheard
I can’t say enough good things about Hard Knox Talks! I found them when I was at the lowest point I’ve ever been. My young teenager was in and out of treatment centres, I was heavily reliant on alcohol to get through the week (day), another family member was on the streets doing drugs and stealing to survive. Things were falling apart and the worst part of all was that the world around us seemed to be continuing on as normal; no one knew and it seemed no one cared. I felt hopeless and alone. Until I found Hard Knox Talks. These people have felt the same way I did; they have experienced the same woes and they don’t judge - they welcome you with open arms. Dan and Donna have created a brave space for everyone to share their stories and know that they aren’t alone, regardless of what program or system they used or didn’t use to heal. They’re also bringing a message of hope to everyone still lost in the dark that WE DO RECOVER! They are shedding light on big issues that most people don’t want to acknowledge. Definitely worth a listen!

What an inspirational show! Dan and Donna do such a great job getting the word out! Helping people from all walks of life! You won’t go wrong listening to a show, everyone has a different story and everyone worth listening too
