Avoiding pain related to orthopedic issues while exercising is also good. However, we have be careful that we don't adopt a "fragility mindset".Understanding that your body was made to come back and come back stronger after an injury helps to fight against the fragility mindset. Push yourself passed the mental blocks that pain can create, within reason. As trainers being aware of the language you use and the power it has over clients is important.
