At 14 years old, Alero Eribo moved from Nigeria to Canada and fell in love with hockey. She rented a pair of skates, stepped on the ice, and found freedom. Now, at 16 years old, she's founded Hockey Girlz, an organization empowering and providing resources for more girls to play hockey. You won't believe this incredibly passionate and brilliant woman is still in high school while working to make the hockey world and beyond a better, more welcoming space for all.
