Ambitious scope and delivers

Am about 30 episodes in. Like many podcasts, professionalism increases with time. Presenter may be a lay person but deserves a shout out for the obvious time and energy he puts into this. Incredibly sweeping scope yet Chris keeps it focused and other lay people (like me) are able to access this in bite sized chunks. Thank you - looking forward to catching up on future episodes. Cheers!

Great job! What a find!

Great podcast. Delivery is interesting and fun. After reading Will and Ariel Durant’s The Story of Civilization when young, I was looking to revisit and refresh that educational journey. Chris’s series is excellent in that regard. Thorough. Concise. Just an all round fantastic job and podcast. Thank you Chris.

Stop wasting your life, start listening to this podcast.

I can’t get enough. Chris is humble, fair and comes across as very kind and genial. His voice is great and he has a charming accent.

The research he does for the podcast is fantastic. The narrative he writes is interesting and easy to follow. I listen to every episode multiple times because I love to fall asleep to it but I always want to listen again with my full attention later.

I came to the podcast looking for Prehistory and I’m so grateful you started there. Learning in a comprehensive chronological way adds a lot to the content for me, and it’s such a rare find. I’m learning so much and it’s a great bonus that it’s comforting to listen to. Thanks Chris and hello from Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.
