Brew On

I've been listening since 2011, when I started the conversation was definitely above my head, but I can say that persistence in brewing pays off. There is more zestiness here to learn from than I recieved in my $35k Masters of Arts in Theological Education offered. Keep on Brewing

progressive postmodern christianity

This is a show about theologians and thinkers trying to inject new, more sellable meaning into the Christian theology, a prog/pomo update to the religion if you will.

The reason for the low-ish score is that they never touch on the elephant in the room: Christianity is not postmodern (as it has truth claims) and much of it is not progressive; and attempts to make it pomo and progressive have historically resulted in a death spiral. btw, one of the answers given to resolve this tension is is to stop reading the bible (may 26, 2018).)

A recurring theme with the guests and hosts is 'i grew up in a christian fundie home and now i am superprog christian'. if that is you, you will like the show. if you are conservative or looking for something to cure cure your doubt, nope.

as an alternative, may i suggest "blogging theology"
