Seasons and Their Impact on Grief

Most people have a season they would call their favourite. Many like the summer time for the warmth and the outdoors, while some like the winter for staying cozy inside and the slower pace. But do the seasons have an impact on someone who is grieving the death of a loved one? On this episode of Changing Lives, we’re going to look into the effect seasons have on the grieving process.  Written by: Lee McConnell Sources: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC8061295/?utm_source=chatgpt.com#sec4 https://www.hospicewr.org/news/no/understanding-grief-and-seasonal-depression?utm_source=chatgpt.com Support the show Listen on 91x FM You can listen to episodes of "Changing Lives"  on 91x FM each Monday (except for holidays) at 9:05am.  Hospice Quinte is grateful to the support that 91x FM provides in producing the "Changing Lives" podcast. Hospice Quinte's Annual Holiday Letter Campaign

It’s the holiday season, and we are once again sending out our annual Holiday Letter Campaign. Every year we put together a letter that is sent out to all our supporters. In the spirit of the season, we ask them to keep us in mind when considering where their potential holiday donations may go toward. On this Episode of Changing Lives, we’re going to hear some testimonials from people who have had a loved one spend their final days at Hospice Quinte, read by some of our staff and volunteers.   Written by: Lee McConnell Voices: Petra Lepage, Sandi Heiwegen, Melodie MacKenzie, Lisa Boomhour, Sue Lockhart,  Fran Burrows, Leanne Edmunds, Courtney Black, Lisa Young, and Pamela Park.
