In this episode, Dr. Foynes discusses the importance of connecting with our inner wisdom to help us clarify our core values, a process that can help us not only live in closer alignment with our values but also help us feel more fulfilled and connected with what gives us deep meaning and purpose not just in business, but in all life domains. She talks about specific ways in which we can learn to discern the difference between values that are truly ours and those that we've been conditioned or taught to believe are important, and highlights research that supports the benefits of clarifying our values and engaging in actions that align with those values. Dr. Foynes also shares accessible evidence-based tools and strategies from psychology as well as complementary and alternative medicine that can facilitate values clarification and the pursuit of action steps in service of our values so that we can continue to return to those values and stay aligned with them even as obstacles and life challenges arise.
