Imagine listening in on these raw, unfiltered conversations with real couples… One partner is in $300,000 in debt, but shrugs it off. The other cries at night, anxious about the future. A couple that’s so worried about money, they never feel they’ll have enough. When they eat out, they order chicken instead of steak to save $10. Their household income: $600,000. Two parents who feel overwhelmed by work, kids, and debt. When I ask them how they’d describe their lives, they instantly say the same word: “Stuck.” Ramit Sethi asks the questions we wish we all could ask, presenting a totally different philosophy on money: • Spend extravagantly on the things you love, as long as you cut costs mercilessly on the things you don’t. • Ask $30,000 questions, not $3 questions. • A Rich Life is more than math -- it’s mastering your money psychology. From the author of the bestselling book, ‘I Will Teach You To Be Rich,’ learn how money psychology affects these couples… and how to create your own Rich Life.

Favourite pod every week

I discovered this show in early 2023 and have been hooked ever since. I've listened to every episode and look forward to Tuesday morning releases. Listening to real couples' stories, and Ramit's way of supporting them through major breakthroughs, has had a huge impact on how I am living my rich life!

It’s like if Jerry Springer had a money podcast, but with more ads

This show is weird. I think the show has too many ads to make listening enjoyable. That would be the main easy thing to fix which would improve the quality of the show overall. But substantively, the show is a weird mix of if Jerry Springer had a money podcast and some good financial advice. Part of this podcast feeds off the listener thinking “well at least my life isn’t that bad!” and the host gives very little advice at times to people who really need help. Also the host fails to distinguish that maybe different people need different financial strategies that work for them. That being said, the host gives some good general advice, such as having a financial advisor paid on funds under management is a total waste of money. But it’s weird broadcasting people’s personal issues for the world to see (the same way Jerry Springer gave “free” advice). It seems unintentionally predatory.

Never miss an episode

Great content that makes you think about your own life, and how we spend and think about money. Nice diversity of guests who are very vulnerable and open. Ramit does a great job of guiding people to figure out their rich life.
