Bold new leadership supporting the National Housing Strategy, with Julia Deans, Habitat for Humanity Canada President & CEO

Impact Conversations

Julia shares her insights three months into her role as President and CEO of Habitat for Humanity Canada.  She shares her thoughts about priorities for the organization and how they make a bigger impact particularly given COVID-19 and the impact it has had on them, as a retail organization, construction organization,  community developer, while counting on volunteer engagement, corporate and government support - all facets that are affected by the crisis.

Yet she thinks it's time to be collaborating and making a bold contribution towards the National Housing Strategy; and not just addressing housing issues but also issues such as climate change, in how they build those homes and create an example from Canada for the rest of the Habitat world, and perhaps others, to learn from.

Hear what it means to be a leader through crisis, listening for new ideas from anywhere.
