Welcome to the Insource Podcast.

Together, we’re going to stop being told how to think, look and feel- and instead, go within and BEGIN.

I get it. I’ve been there. I’ve gone through life checking the boxes the world told me to - college, smaller body, marriage, house, Botox. I trusted that I was always just one box away from true happiness until I realized it was a fucking hamster wheel.

Once I stopped listening to the “experts” and decided the only true expert on me is me, my entire life changed.

The Insource Podcast is about learning how to recognize and lean into your internal voice; to learn who YOU are and honoring your discoveries. Get ready to take your journey inside and watch your outside world align to where it was always meant to be.

    75. Powerful Pivots

    75. Powerful Pivots

I’ve been a very productive pivoter for much of my life. Pivots can be scary because you’re leaving what is comfortable for the unknown. BUT, just because something is comfortable, doesn’t mean it’s where you belong.

In this weeks episode I share some of the past pivots I’ve made in my life, what led me to those choices, and the outcomes of choosing them. And, I offer some encouragement for you to lean into the voice inside that is asking you to pivot.

Whether that is to pivot your career, relationship, self talk, habits etc… it’s not life and death. So just keep walking towards what feels right-enough. You can always change your mind.

If this podcast resonated with you, I would LOVE to hear from you. Leave a review, slide into my DM’s, share it on social, whatever feels good to you. Thank you for continuing to come back and hang with me.

    74. The Power of Rest

    74. The Power of Rest

I just got back from a weekend away with some girlfriends, and I came home so much more filled up than when I left. More filled than I’ve been in a long time.
We had some beautiful discussions and got me thinking about what I want for my future. I’ve always had massive, big, scary goals… and I still do. But I also have had some time to reflect, and took this weekend to dig into what I want my life to look like. And I was surprised by what I found.
If you’re an achiever like me, or have trouble granting yourself rest or giving yourself permission to play: this episode is for you!
I hope it encourages to prioritize joy and pursue what makes you feel most alive, and grateful to be here.

    73. Mail Bag: Self Esteem

    73. Mail Bag: Self Esteem

In todays episode we go back to the mail bag and I get to dive into a topic I feel SO passionate about: how to *decide* and work to believe that you are worthy of love and belonging.

This is a theme that comes up with almost all of my clients. And it is a theme that has come up in my life time and time again. I know what hating yourself feels like, because I did it for years. BUT, I also now know how to pull myself out of it.

So join me as I share the steps I take, along with some thoughts I think, to overcome the internal bully and release your inner hype girl.

I hope this resonates with you so much, and that you’re able to start treating yourself the way those who love you immensely do. You deserve that. Can’t wait to hear what you think!

    72. We Can Do Hard Things

    72. We Can Do Hard Things

A few episodes back I talked about how sometimes we make things harder than they are. We tell ourselves something is hard, and that keeps us from taking action. We call ourselves stuck, when really we’re just afraid to move through or past the hard.

That is not what I am talking about today. In today’s episode I explore the idea that sometimes, it is *supposed to be* hard.

Losing weight and prioritizing health: sometimes hard
Building a business and chasing your goals: sometimes hard
Repairing a relationship and allowing yourself to be vulnerable: sometimes hard
Working through your trauma and healing yourself: sometimes hard

But, the way our brains are set up for survival means that when things feel hard, our brain thinks we need to hit the eject button immediately. We don’t. Sometimes, we need to let them be hard and do. it. anyway.

Join me today as I share with you the process you take your brain through as you let the things the matter to you, to sometimes be uncomfortable.

    71. Mail Bag: Marriage Issues

    71. Mail Bag: Marriage Issues

In this weeks episode we dive into the mail bag. I explore three different scenarios in three listeners marriages and try to give insight and guidance to help them make a decision that feels good and empowering to them.

First up we chat about feeling disconnected from your spouse when you’ve got little kids at home.
The second scenario is about supporting a spouse with mental illness, and how to drop resentment and judgement so you can get back to loving.
The third is about wanting to end a marriage and how to know when it is time.

I love doing these mailbag episodes, so if you’ve got any situations you need my advice on, you can always email me at Ashlie.molstad@gmai.com

    70. Apologizing + Repair

    70. Apologizing + Repair

Sometimes I coach you to have your back when someone is upset with you over something you've done. And sometimes, like today, I coach you on how to apologize and truly mean it when you've treated someone you care about in a way you're not proud of. But we dive deeper than just the apology, we go into the act of repairing any damage caused.

In todays episode I share several examples recently where I had to repair relationships with people I love because of how I acted.

Yes, its important to look at if we need to have our own back and hold space for others to be upset with us when we don’t feel we’ve done anything wrong.
BUT, it is equally as important to know how to deeply apologize and repair, so that the people we love, value and care about feel seen, heard and loved by us.

I can’t wait to hear how this helps you turn the page with some relationships in your life, so that they and you, can move forward.
