Maniac (1980 Vs. 2012) with Breanna Whipple
Williams Lustig's Maniac (1980) is a dark, controversial horror film about a serial killer on a rampage starring Joe Spinell. It's themes of mental illness and deep seeded trauma are explored even further in the 2012 remake starring Elijah Wood. This week IOTR is joined by the horror queen, Breanna Whipple of Heavy Horror to explore both films. Keep your hair on because this episode is better than a shotgun to the face!

Remaking Damnation Alley (1977)

Hit the road with Invasion of the Remake as we rethink and remake this cult, sci-fi movie for a new generation.
To Be or Not to Be (1942 vs 1983)
To Be or Not to Be, that is the question...and the movie. It's the beginning of World War II and the Nazis have seized Poland. A small acting troupe tries to save lives by keeping a list of Polish freedom fighters from falling into the hands of the enemy. And it is pretty darn funny too! This week IOTR compares the classic Carole Lumbard & Jack Benny 1942 film to the Mel Brooks and Anne Bancroft 1983 remake. Only on Invasion of the Remake!
Jason, Trish and Sam are awesome. I admit to love remakes, so for me, this is perfect! A must listen for any movie lover for that matter! Subscribe today, you won’t regret it!
Invade my earholes
With content like this you can Invade my earholes anytime you want. I like the episodes where they recast and modornize older movies it is fun to think about it that way. The banter between the hosts is entertaing and fun to listen too and tends to end up in weird places that is beyond the wildest imaginations.
For the fans, by the fans!
One of my favourite movie podcasts. Jason and crew help the remake weary movie buff traverse the landscape of the good, the bad, and the ugly of remakes. They also have some great insight into the remaining movies that haven't been remade as to how they should be. Check it out, you shan't be disappointed.
