Well documented and easy listening. Laura leaves no stone unturned. As a retired RCMP member who worked on the island 30yrs ago, I find it fascinating to go through these investigations which took place in a familiar backdrop. Kudos Laura!

You are amazing, thank you soooo much for an updated profile. I have been writing online for years that the unsub behavioural profile from 91’ would likely be much different from the one they would provide today. I never quite heard which area the brown van people were living in at the time of M.D dissapeanace? I have a family member who lives in Bay/Cook st area for 20 years and none of us have ever been to the fields where M.D disappeared. We didn’t even knowt they existed. It’s was pretty clear the unsub lived or worked in that area at one point. It’s mind blowing how multiple generations of new case workers still haven’t zeroed in on the best suspect that we know they have. Frankly, no one in the Vic area has any faith in the police investigations after what’s happened to so many high profile unsolved cases that seemed like there is more than enough evidence: Buziak, Amber Manthorne, Fillipoff — the list goes on. Thank you Laura for caring and investigation.
