Best. Pod.

Favourite pod - look forward to it every week. Gourley trying to read ads might be funniest segment. More Ian Fleming and Orson Welles please. Keep it up gents.

Really wanted to like this...

I really wanted to like this after hearing about it on How Did This Get Made but... I do not. Love a good banter-filled podcast and the topic of the James Bond films but this one is... not very good. They really need an editor. There is so much bad joking around between the hosts that goes on WAY too long, and is just never very funny. For example the endless imitations of Casino Royale's Albert Finney character went on so long, and were so unfunny that I ended up skipping a large amount of the episode. The hosts clearly find themselves hilarious but the jokes are both weak and crass without adding any wit or insight. They are trying so hard to be funny, but are pretty insufferable. And dare I say it, a little mysogonistic. I'm 4 episodes in, and will maybe give it another shot, but so far it's a great concept that misses the mark in every way in its execution.
