Customer Reviews
😊🙏
With commercial news network anchors resorting to an incomprehensible, disjointed string of participial, gerund, and prepositional phrases in all newscasts, PBS has become the only bearable broadcaster that knows how to properly inform listeners with actual verbs in comprehensible complete sentences. It’s always taken a level-headed approach without the hype that commercial broadcasters promote to feed their easily distracted audiences. As a non-American, I appreciate that PBS is less America-centric than any other U.S. broadcaster.
Depression
I have just listened to the interview about your guest’s depression. I have had depression since I was a child. I have recently been diagnosed as bipolar and I am 63. Trying to get my family to understand what I am going through. Please if you’re able, please do a series about depression, and anxiety.
We are literally dying out here because of the lack of understanding. I also am a recovering addict, I also have fibromyalgia, and I know that these issues are connected. I am from Canada and our healthcare systems do not cover mental health physiology appointments. It does cover hospitalization, but that is woefully inadequate, we need help before that.
Please help us through knowledge. Just like addictions were brought to the forefront we need to discuss the hell out of this disease! You WILL save lives! Peace
P.s. Ms Woodriff was fabulous with this interview! Thankyou
Best American news show.
Thank you PBS.
