Qari Abdul Majid Noor is a world renowned Canadian Qari. He has participated in international Quran competitions in Saudi Arabia, Iran, and Malaysia. He won the second position in the international Quran competition in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. He travels to different countries to recite Quran.   He was awarded the President’s award for the pride of performance, the highest civil award in Pakistan. He is an official reciter of Pakistan television, Radio Pakistan, and the provincial assembly of Punjab. He has a Master's degree in Library and information science from the University of Punjab.
