Brilliantly funny and insightful horror movie commentary

Come for the horror movie discussion, stay for Patrick’s Don Knott’s impression.

Kill by kill and episode by episode.

I found this podcast around Friday the 13th part 2 and it got me through more chores in my household and days at work then I can count. I’ve laughed, I’ve almost cried because I also have seen some of the movies that they review and it’s given me an appreciation for the kills that the cast of horror movies have gone through. My favourite in the Jason series has to be the sleeping bag beating but I wanted to give a shout out to the deep fried face death in Sorority Girls and the Slime Bowl Ball-O-Rama. Stay scary and love the show.

Long time coming

I’ve been silent too long! As a loyal listener for 3 years, no other podcast brings the horror knowledge and humour like Gena and Patrick bring. I find myself repeat binge listening to my favourite episodes over and over.

As I am similar in age to the hosts, I really tend to identify with their references, not just cinematically, but culturally too. These are 2 very talented writers that happen to have a brilliant podcast. The one I anticipate most of all on my list of 10+ movie shows in my rotation. I make it a point to watch (mostly re-watch) whatever the next movie is.

So from Freddy to Friday, My Bloody Valentine to Mikey.., listening to this will assuredly be one of the most enjoyable hours of the week.
